Since 2007, a team of undergraduate students from different disciplines in Assuit University has been established & specialized in making innovative projects and participating in robotics competitions and exhibitions, to create a generation capable of competing world wide in the robotics field.

Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) competition is an international Competition organized from 2002 by MATE (Marine Advanced Technology Education) Center in USA. It is organized in Egypt and Arab region since 2012 by Hadath Company and AASTMT. The Arabian winners are qualified to compete in the international competition. Teams compete in design and building ROV can achieve a definite under water mission. This mission is set by MATE as a model of a real mission and changes every year.
The Exhibition: Is an annual event that takes place in the engineering college in Assiut university, early in the new academic year. It is a shared hub to exchange best-practices and projects that provide engineering students with sufficient data about robotics science, furthermore, it promotes the engineering science and profession at the university.

The graduation party: Is an annual event that is held at the Engineers Syndicate for senior members in the team. It is supervised by Prof. Dr. Mazen Abd-Elsalam (The Academic General Supervisor) and the heads of mechanical and electrical engineering departments.

Robotics Annual Exhibition 2020: The exhibition is held at Assiut Robotics Lab and lasted for a week It consisted of two main parts: -online fair that included the following topics: GUI, Embedded system, and control -offline fair that included the following projects; ROV, Minesweeper, CNC, and 3D printer.

Life after graduation was an event to correct the misconceptions about what the students will face after graduation. The speeches were about; embedded systems, soft skills, construction, sales engineering, mechanical design and production, industrial automation, and biomedical engineering.
The graduation party of 13th batch of Assiut Robotics, students are honored in the fourth and last grade, it was a special celebration at the engineering syndicate.
In 11 Oct, 2020, We were proud to announce the launch of our new logo as a part of the ongoing evolution and we have the same passion even if the logo changes.
Assiut Robotics team organized for the first time (Elmi, Elmak!! event )to discuss the importance of theoretical study and on how it affects the work market. The event included the following colleges: (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Fine Arts, Engineering and its departments, Commerce, Law, Sciences and its departments, Physical Education, Fundamentals of Religion).
